I Buy My Time Second-Hand

Imagine a world, much like ours, one of cities and traffic jams, computers and home mortgages. But also a place where express delivery vans can fly, junkies smoke twenty dollar bills for the rush, and Social Security numbers are the key to the soul. Wealth is the privilege and pleasure of the businessmen who run the world from their offices in the sky, but one has conceived an ambitious plan to make himself even richer: buy time from those who no longer want it and then sell it to those who can afford it. But to make his plan a reality, he needs the help of one man -- a nobody, a wage slave, but one with a very special knack that can make all of their dreams come true...if time wasn't already running out for the both of them.

My novel of contemporary fantasy, I Buy My Time Second-Hand, is currently being represented by Sternig & Byrne and is under editorial consideration.
